NRL Predictions: Odds, Value & Best Prices
Our NRL predictions are built on odds data, not gut feel. Across a sampled NRL market set, Unibet posted the top best-price share at 55.97% and Ladbrokes 54.65%, meaning those two books held the sharpest line on the majority of markets we tracked. On margin, Sportsbet ran leanest at 4.91%, ahead of PointsBet (5.64%) and Ladbrokes (5.82%). Below we break down the eight upcoming fixtures, where the best prices sit, and what the implied probabilities say.

Upcoming NRL fixtures: best-price snapshot
Prices below are the sharpest head-to-head odds recorded across our tracked operators for each fixture. Implied probability is 1/odds.
- Melbourne Storm v Penrith Panthers: Storm 3.30 (TAB) / Panthers 1.35 (Ladbrokes). Panthers implied ~74% — a clear favourite line.
- Canberra Raiders v Brisbane Broncos: Raiders 1.46 (Neds) / Broncos 2.81 (Sportsbet). Raiders favoured ~68%.
- Dolphins v Parramatta Eels: Dolphins 1.26 (TAB) / Eels 4.20 (Unibet). One of the widest gaps on the card.
- Newcastle Knights v Manly Sea Eagles: Knights 1.46 (Neds) / Sea Eagles 3.20 (PointsBet).
- South Sydney Rabbitohs v New Zealand Warriors: Rabbitohs 2.35 (PointsBet) / Warriors 1.64 (Ladbrokes). The tightest contest by market pricing.
- St George Illawarra Dragons v Canterbury Bulldogs: Dragons 2.80 (betr) / Bulldogs 1.50 (Ladbrokes).
- Gold Coast Titans v Cronulla Sharks: Titans 2.75 (Unibet) / Sharks 1.50 (TAB).
- Sydney Roosters v Wests Tigers: Roosters 1.18 (TAB) / Tigers 6.00 (PointsBet). The shortest favourite on the round.
Reading the value: where the market disagrees
The Rabbitohs v Warriors fixture is the only near-coinflip on the card by best price — Warriors 1.64 implies ~61%, Rabbitohs 2.35 implies ~43%. When those two figures sum well above 100% (here ~104%), the overround is the book's margin; the sharper the book, the closer that total sits to 100%.
TAB and PointsBet each anchor a short-priced favourite (Roosters 1.18, Dolphins 1.26 at TAB). At those levels the value question is not who wins but whether the price compensates for the risk — a 1.18 line needs roughly an 85% strike rate just to break even before margin.
Mid-range lines like the Dragons at 2.80 (betr) or Titans 2.75 (Unibet) are where best-price shopping matters most: a few cents of difference at these odds moves your expected return more than at heavy favourites.
Which bookmakers price NRL sharpest
The data ranks operators on two objective measures: how often they hold the best available price (best-price share) and their average market margin.
- Unibet: 55.97% best-price share, 5.84% margin (243 markets sampled). Highest best-price frequency in the set.
- Ladbrokes: 54.65% best-price share, 5.82% margin (258 sampled). Nearly matches Unibet and prices the deepest sample.
- Neds: 35.59% best-price share, 5.89% margin.
- TAB: 27.12% best-price share, 6.05% margin.
- bet365: 23.33% best-price share but a higher 7.44% margin (30 sampled) — strong for coverage and live tools, less so on raw margin.
- Sportsbet: 15.91% best-price share yet the leanest margin at 4.91% (44 sampled).
The practical read: Unibet and Ladbrokes top the leaderboard on how often they beat the market, while Sportsbet's low margin means its non-best prices still stay competitive. Holding accounts across two or three of these covers most best-price outcomes on an NRL round.
How we build these NRL predictions
We do not publish tipping records we cannot verify. These predictions lean on the odds market itself — implied probability, best-price share and margin — rather than claimed win rates. Prices shift with team news, late scratchings and wagering flow, so treat the figures above as a snapshot of the current line.
For live line movement, our market movers feed tracks opening versus current prices across operators. All bookmakers referenced are licensed for wagering in Australia under state and territory racing and wagering authorities, and all listed carry a minimum deposit of $10 with PayID plus card options.
