Best-price share tells you how often a sportsbook offered the top available number in our sample. On that measure the order is clear:
- DraftKings — 54.0% best-price share, 4.25% average margin (1,068 markets)
- Fanatics Sportsbook — 41.8% best-price share, 4.25% margin (466 markets)
- Caesars Sportsbook — 36.2% best-price share, 5.27% margin (906 markets)
- FanDuel — 36.1% best-price share, 4.46% margin (596 markets)
- BetRivers — 28.3% best-price share, 6.35% margin (480 markets)
- BetMGM — 19.9% best-price share, 5.21% margin (438 markets)
Margin is the built-in house edge across a market's prices — lower is better for you. DraftKings and Fanatics lead on both metrics simultaneously, which is why a prediction is worth more when placed there. BetRivers' 6.35% average margin means the same pick costs you more expected value per bet than at DraftKings.
How we build a prediction into a value bet
A prediction is a probability estimate. A value bet exists only when the implied probability of the price is lower than your estimate. Our workflow:
1. Fix an estimate for the outcome (form, injuries, matchup). 2. Convert the best available price to implied probability. 3. Compare against the margin-adjusted market to remove the house edge. 4. Place only where your estimate clears the price.
Because DraftKings holds the highest best-price share, more of our qualifying picks land there — but line shopping across two or three books still adds edge. We do not publish tracked win-rate claims; the value is in the pricing method, not a scoreboard of past picks.
Football tips and today's football tips
US bettors search football tips for two sports. For soccer, our coverage runs across Serie A, Ligue 1, the Champions League, Europa League, Copa Libertadores, MLS and the World Cup. For American football, that means the NFL and NCAAF.
