Today's Odds — United States
Across our US price sample, DraftKings returned the best odds most often — winning 54.0% of sampled markets at an average margin of 4.25%. Fanatics Sportsbook followed at 41.8% best-price share with a near-identical 4.24% margin, then Caesars (36.4%) and FanDuel (36.0%). BetMGM sat lowest at 19.5% best-price share and the widest margin among the group at 5.21%. Those numbers, not brand recognition, decide where a given line pays best. US betting is regulated state by state, so which of these operators you can actually use depends on your state regulator and a minimum age of 21.

Full ranking →Where the best US odds actually are
Best-price share measures how often a book posts the top available number across a shared set of markets. Lower average margin means the book prices closer to true probability, leaving more value for the bettor.
The sampled data ranks as follows:
- DraftKings — 54.0% best-price share, 4.25% avg margin (1,066 markets sampled)
- Fanatics Sportsbook — 41.8% best-price share, 4.24% avg margin (466 sampled)
- Caesars Sportsbook — 36.4% best-price share, 5.28% avg margin (904 sampled)
- FanDuel — 36.0% best-price share, 4.45% avg margin (594 sampled)
- BetRivers — 28.0% best-price share, 6.36% avg margin (478 sampled)
- BetMGM — 19.5% best-price share, 5.21% avg margin (436 sampled)
Two takeaways. First, DraftKings leads on frequency of the top price, but Fanatics posts the tightest margin in the sample by a hair — useful if you line-shop selectively rather than staying loyal. Second, BetRivers' 6.36% margin is the widest measured here, which explains its lower best-price frequency despite competitive coverage. bet365, ESPN BET and Hard Rock Bet were not price-sampled in this dataset, so we rank them on coverage, live capability and app strength rather than measured margin.
How the sportsbooks rank on coverage and depth
Odds decide value on a single line; market coverage and sports depth decide whether the book even lists the bet you want. On our scoring, bet365 leads coverage (9.6) and sports depth (9.5), reflecting the widest listing breadth across US and international markets. DraftKings (9.0 coverage / 8.9 depth) and FanDuel (8.9 / 8.8) follow closely, with BetMGM (8.7 / 8.6) and Caesars (8.5 / 8.4) a step behind.
Live capability tracks a similar order: bet365 (9.4), FanDuel and DraftKings (8.9 and 8.8), then BetMGM (8.5). If in-play volume matters to you — and it does for NBA and NFL bettors chasing live number swings — those live scores are the ones to weigh.
For Same Game Parlay and Bet Builder markets, DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, BetRivers, ESPN BET, Fanatics and Hard Rock all list Same Game Parlay, while bet365 offers Bet Builder. Sports and competitions covered
US books price the domestic four deeply — NFL and NCAAF for American Football, NBA and NCAAB for Basketball, MLB for Baseball and NHL for Ice Hockey — plus UFC/MMA and international Football.
Football (soccer) coverage extends to the Champions League, Europa League, Serie A, Ligue 1, MLS, Copa Libertadores and the World Cup, so bettors following European and South American competitions are not limited to domestic leagues. Tennis (ATP and WTA), Golf and EuroLeague basketball round out the depth-scored markets.

View all →Legal status: US betting is state by state
There is no single national license. US sports betting is regulated state by state, so an operator licensed by the New Jersey DGE is not automatically legal in another state. Availability, minimum age and rules depend on your state regulator — the NJ DGE, New York State Gaming Commission (NYSGC), Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB), Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) and their counterparts.
The minimum betting age in regulated states is 21. Every operator listed here holds a license in the states where it operates; that does not mean each is live in all ten of the states we track — New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Colorado, Ohio, Illinois, Arizona, Virginia and Massachusetts.
Before depositing, confirm the book is authorized in your state. See [legal betting sites United States](/en-us/legal-betting-sites/) for the state-by-state breakdown.
Payments and withdrawal speed
The listed operators share a common banking stack. PayPal is supported by every book in this set; Venmo appears at bet365, DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, ESPN BET, Fanatics and Hard Rock; Play+ is offered by DraftKings, BetMGM, Caesars and BetRivers; Visa is listed at bet365 and FanDuel; and Online Banking is universal. Apple Pay is available in the wider US market.
Minimum deposit is $10 across all nine operators. Stated withdrawal time is 0–24 hours everywhere in this set, so payout speed is not a strong differentiator on paper — cash-out and fast-payout tooling matter more day to day. On withdrawal scoring, BetRivers (8.6) and bet365 (8.9) rate highest.

Apps and betting features
Both iOS and Android apps are available for all nine operators. On app scoring, bet365 and FanDuel lead (9.3), with DraftKings just behind (9.2). ESPN BET (8.6) and Fanatics (8.7) score well relative to their coverage, reflecting strong mobile builds despite narrower market depth.
Feature availability: Live Betting is universal. Same Game Parlay is listed at DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, BetRivers, ESPN BET, Fanatics and Hard Rock. Cash Out appears at bet365, DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars and ESPN BET. Fast Payout is flagged at DraftKings, FanDuel, BetRivers, Fanatics and Hard Rock. Live Streaming is available at bet365, DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM and Caesars.

How to use this data
If you line-shop, keep accounts at the two or three books with the highest best-price share for the markets you bet — DraftKings and Fanatics on the measured sample, plus Caesars or FanDuel as backups. That way you catch the top number more often rather than accepting whatever one app shows.
If you value coverage and live tooling over the last cent of margin, bet365's coverage (9.6) and live (9.4) scores lead the set, though its odds were not price-sampled here.
