Basketball Odds United States
Across a 1,068-market basketball sample, DraftKings posted the best price on 54.0% of lines — the widest best-price share of any US sportsbook we track. FanDuel (36.1%), Caesars (36.2%) and Fanatics (41.8%) form the next tier, while BetMGM (19.9%) and BetRivers (28.3%) lag on price. Margin data confirms the ranking: Fanatics runs the tightest average basketball margin at 4.25%, DraftKings at 4.25%, FanDuel at 4.46%, with BetRivers widest at 6.35%. If you bet the NBA, NCAAB or EuroLeague, holding two or three of these accounts captures most of the available line value.

Best-price share measures how often a sportsbook offers the top available number on a given market. On our basketball sample it breaks down as follows:
- DraftKings — 54.0% best-price share, 4.25% average margin (1,068 markets)
- Fanatics Sportsbook — 41.8% best-price share, 4.25% average margin (466 markets)
- Caesars Sportsbook — 36.2% best-price share, 5.27% average margin (906 markets)
- FanDuel — 36.1% best-price share, 4.46% average margin (596 markets)
- BetRivers — 28.3% best-price share, 6.35% average margin (480 markets)
- BetMGM — 19.9% best-price share, 5.21% average margin (438 markets)
The gap between best-price share and margin tells the story. DraftKings wins on frequency and holds a tight margin, which is why it tops the price ranking. Fanatics and Caesars post similar best-price shares, but Caesars carries a full point more margin (5.27% vs 4.25%), so its winning prices are concentrated in fewer market types. BetMGM's 19.9% figure means it is the top number on roughly one basketball market in five — usable as a line-shopping alternate rather than a primary price book.
bet365, ESPN BET and Hard Rock Bet are not included in the priced sample above, so their basketball pricing is not ranked here. bet365 still scores highest on our editorial odds rating (8.8) and leads on market coverage (9.6) and sports depth (9.5).
NBA, NCAAB and EuroLeague coverage
The three basketball markets that matter most to US bettors are the NBA, NCAAB and EuroLeague. Coverage depth differs by book.
For NBA, all nine tracked operators run full sides, totals, player props and Same Game Parlay / Bet Builder markets. bet365, DraftKings and FanDuel score highest for market coverage (9.6, 9.0, 8.9) and carry the deepest player-prop trees — points, rebounds, assists, threes and combined markets — plus alternate lines.
NCAAB volume spikes during conference play and March, when the number of simultaneous games stretches trading desks. Books with higher sports-depth ratings (bet365 9.5, DraftKings 8.9, FanDuel 8.8) tend to price more mid-major games and offer props on more of the slate.
EuroLeague is thinner across the board. Expect reliable sides and totals from the coverage leaders; deep prop trees are inconsistent for European games at US-facing books. Line-shopping matters most here because fewer books price each game, so best-price share concentrates.

Live basketball betting and streaming
In-play is where basketball pricing gets volatile — margins widen and the top number rotates possession by possession. Live-capability ratings: bet365 9.4, FanDuel 8.9, DraftKings 8.8, BetMGM 8.5, Caesars 8.3, BetRivers 8.2.
bet365 is the only tracked operator listing Live Streaming among its features alongside Live Betting and Cash Out. DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM and Caesars list Same Game Parlay and Cash Out; FanDuel, BetRivers, Fanatics and Hard Rock Bet list Fast Payout. If you build live SGPs, the higher live-capability scores (bet365, FanDuel, DraftKings) indicate faster market re-pricing and more consistent in-play availability.
Payments, withdrawals and app availability
Every tracked operator lists a $10 minimum deposit and a 0–24h withdrawal window, with native iOS and Android apps. Payment coverage:
- PayPal — supported by all nine operators
- Venmo — bet365, DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, ESPN BET, Fanatics, Hard Rock Bet
- Online Banking — all nine operators
- Play+ — DraftKings, BetMGM, Caesars, BetRivers
- Visa — bet365, FanDuel
App ratings run highest for bet365, FanDuel and DraftKings (9.3, 9.3, 9.2), with BetMGM (8.8), Fanatics (8.7) and ESPN BET (8.6) close behind. Withdrawal ratings favor DraftKings' and BetRivers' processing (8.5, 8.6) among the value books.
How US state licensing affects your basketball book
US sports betting is regulated state by state. An operator licensed by the New Jersey DGE is not automatically legal in New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan or elsewhere — availability, minimum age and rules depend on your state regulator (NJ DGE, NYSGC, PGCB, MGCB and others). The minimum betting age is 21 in the licensed states we track.
All nine operators hold licence-safety ratings of 8.9–9.5, meaning each is licensed in the states where it operates. Which books you can actually open depends on where you are: for example, not every operator above is live in Massachusetts, Ohio or Colorado. Confirm state availability before choosing a primary basketball book, then add a second account purely for line-shopping.
