Our NBA predictions start with pricing, not opinion. Across a 1,068-market NBA sample, DraftKings held the best price on 54.0% of selections — the highest best-price share of any sampled US sportsbook — at a 4.25% average margin. FanDuel followed at 36.1% best-price share (4.46% margin), then Fanatics at 41.8% (4.25%) and Caesars at 36.2% (5.27%). Below we translate those numbers into where the value sits on this week's slate and how the futures market prices the title race.
Where the best NBA prices are right now
Best-price share measures how often a book posts the top number on a given market. On NBA the leader is clear: DraftKings tops 54% of sampled markets, so if you shop one book for basketball moneylines and spreads, the data points there first.
Margin is the second filter. A lower average margin means more of the true price is returned to you. DraftKings (4.25%) and Fanatics (4.25%) run the tightest NBA books in the sample; FanDuel sits at 4.46%. BetMGM (5.21%), Caesars (5.27%) and BetRivers (6.35%) carry heavier vig, which is why they win fewer best-price flags despite deep market coverage.
The practical takeaway: line-shop across at least two books. Best-price share is never 100% for anyone, so no single operator is the low every night.

Note how often DraftKings appears on both sides — consistent with its 54% best-price share. Where the top number sits elsewhere (BetMGM on the Celtics and Knicks, Caesars on the Thunder), that gap is worth a few percentage points on the payout and is exactly what a second account captures.

We are an odds and data desk, not a tipster. There is no tracked win-rate archive behind these pages, so we don't publish one. What we do publish is measurable: best-price share, average margin and the gap between the top price and the market consensus.
A "prediction" here means identifying which side carries pricing value relative to the field — where one book's number is materially better than the rest, or where the implied probability looks soft against how the wider market has settled. Legal NBA betting by state
